Hundreds of teacher-leaders from the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT), and teachers' federations of the National Capital Region, will troop to Malacanang today at 3pm, to air their concerns on the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) to President Benigno Aquino III.

Teachers to march to Mendiola to demand GSIS refund

The Alliance of Concerned Teachers will lead a motorcade and march of public school teachers and employees to Mendiola on Wednesday, April 28, to demand the refund of illegal deductions made by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) from the benefits of its members.

Around thirty members of ACT TEACHERS Partylist held a sit-down protest in front of the main entrance of the COMELEC office, chanting slogans, carrying placards, and demanding an audience with COMELEC officials.
